One SAVVY shopper managed to get a discount on ten children's books for just £10 at The Works.
The bargain hunter deliberately gives them away for her son's birthday as a cheap alternative to the party bag.
The buyer bagged ten books for just £10 at The WorksCredit: Facebook - Extreme Couponing and Bargains UKMom Janine Carver took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group to share information about the great deal.
She said: "I'm sure this has been shared before, but The Works does ten books for £10 or three for £5.
"We give them out as birthday gifts instead of giving out party bags."
Janine shared a photo of the books she just packed, including some big name stories.
These included A Piece of Cake and Quiet Night In from The Large Family collection.
As well as Harry and the Dinosaurs First Sleepover and A Bed of Your Own Book by Mij Kelly.

Amazing how you explain in great detail how you work. I tend to flesh-out my characters first and see where my story takes me, unless I have a paragraph written in the back of my mind…:)
