This was book 2 of the series and I liked it better than book 1. This one had a good storyline to follow. It wasn’t all just submissive sex. M/M.
I felt sorry for Devil and all that he had gone through. Was glad to see his HEA and was happy to see Lucifer to be so open and caring for Devil. The only thing that I didn’t like was when Lucifer told Devil that he would still be doing others in the club because that was his job. That made me sad that he would do that. Sure he can still do the whips, punishments, etc. but leave the actual sex to someone else. But then that is just me.
All in all, I did like this story. There wasn’t as much sex as I was expecting which actually was a good thing and it left more room for actual storyline and dialogue. Not just Wham, Bam, Thank You Man.

Book two in The Blood Red Rose Club is a complicated love story between Devil and Lucifer. Devil was abandon as a child to The Brotherhood who seemed to be locked in the wrong century. When he escaped he found Lucifer who was intrigued by the innocence he found in Devil. This was a fast paced story filled with misunderstandings, rash decisions and an interesting journey. Lucifer is a very commanding figure but he also has patience and love to give. Devil is almost childish like in his naivety and acts rashly without thinking about the consequences. I enjoyed watching him grow as a character. Even though this is a BDSM story, their is minimal sex and lots of story giving us incite to the strong couple we meet in book 1.

It was super easy to feel for Devil as he made his plight from the upbringing he endured to finding his love with Lucifer. Lucifer is a strong man with strong ideals who easily falls for Devil and wants to take care of him. Through a series of events they find their love is true and Devil is able to overcome his childhood and the abuse and self-doubt. This was an enjoyable story that will enchant any reader who favors M/M and BDSM.
